AUSTIN, Texas (KEYE) -- '90s kids, rejoice! Dunkaroos are coming back!

The cookies you could dip in icing disappeared quietly in the last decade, according to BuzzFeed. Since then, they've only been available in Canada.

But snack maker General Mills re-launched the brand on social media recently, complete with the tagline "Definitely coming back! Summer 2020."

If you're not familiar with the snack, they're cookies that you dunk in frosting and sprinkles.

“We’re thrilled to relaunch Dunkaroos in the U.S. after years of it only being available in Canada,” says Jeff Caswell, president of Snacks at General Mills. “For those who grew up in the ‘90s, the original cookie-frosting combo represents the taste, color and fun of being a kid during that decade. We know there’s a lot of love for Dunkaroos, and fans everywhere have been asking for it. We’re excited to help ‘90s kids relive all the best parts of childhood.”

Dunkaroos' "epic comeback" will feature the most requested Dunkaroos flavor, Vanilla Cookies and Vanilla Frosting with Rainbow Sprinkles. You should see them on store shelves by the summer.
